Although we are a touring club our members get up to all sorts of things...
Richard has been active on the track recently, two photos; in his own words “The first one from before I fell off doing silly speeds”
In the second still fast but but quite as smart having had a rest in the gravel.

Peter Mallon’s report from the Force 10 Rally....

“All in all a good weekend was had by all. We must have hit the 100 mark for attendees.

The beer was good and the landlord did is proud with his full breakfast for 3 quid and the bowls of stew in the evenings where most welcome.

I am sure we will be back next year but with a whole year of riding to do before that its hard to think that far in advance.”     more available, click here.

After a small turnout for a snowy March meet numbers were back up in April to the point that there was a one tent overflow into the next field and an odd corner for a late arrival without the inside leg measurement to reach the next field. This led to filling the coach for the trip to ‘The Tom Cobley’, CAMRA pub of the year.

Meanwhile elsewhere (Ace Cafe Southend Shakedown)  Richard is off his bike again trying other transport (not getting far).

Apparently he didn’t want it in the PP so it’s here instead.

Later “The Shadow” was surprised when he walked in on his “Fan Club” and more so on finding his own T-shirt ...

No reports from the weekend at Rhayader but from Peters photos, (More at Picasa, click here) it looks like wonderful scenery and some quiet contemplation.

Some views of the Mayflower at the BMF South West showing a range of members bikes.

The Pilgrims rally went well and almost maintained its reputation as the dry rally; almost no rain that is, the Beer / Cider / Wine was as usual good and supplies although getting low did not run out.

Have had reports back of good times at the Greek FIM rally. Here we observe the traditional Greek image of  the 3 graces. More pics at thanks to Peter Mallon and Bob McNeil.

The Mayflower MCC winter “Force 10” Rally attracted around 90 attendees despite overnight temperatures below -5°C.

Possibly the low temperatures had odd effects on some...

The Hampshire Camping weekend coincided with the Birthday of our eldest member, an excellent excuse for cake all round.

Rhayader - good weather, great craic!

Todmorden: gales and heavy rain overnight did nothing to dampen our fun!

The Pilgrim Rally another sunny success, more photos here.
