A new page, with all the touring we do I hope for some ideas soon.
I will start with some useful links;
“The Stove, Heater & Lamp Specialists.” A good source of spares for both current and ancient stoves & Lamps.
Great Britain and Ireland Location Information. Lots of reference information and a handy location coordinate converter including Lat/Long, NAC, US Zip and UTM or even GB telephone area codes post codes and motorway junctions, and a gazetteer for place names.
An amazing reference work on all numbered roads in the UK.
POI Editor lets you view, edit and convert Points of Interest files from GPS devices such as TomTom, Navman, Garmin and many others. One secret of Google maps is revealed here, how to download your route as a KML file, vital for transferring to most GPS related programs.
It would be great if Google Maps and TomTom could cooperate, now they do.
This program allows you to plan your routes on a PC and transfer them to the TomTom, also has a route sharing site.
